Article Review Process

Every submitted manuscript is first evaluated by the Editor to determine its eligibility and relevance to the scope of Journal of Islamic Religious Education (JIRE). The Editor will decide whether the manuscript should be:

• Accepted for review – if it meets the journal’s standards and focus area,
• Returned for revision – if it requires significant improvement before review, or
• Rejected – if it does not meet basic requirements or journal scope.

Manuscripts that pass the initial editorial screening will be forwarded for a double-blind peer review process, where both authors and reviewers remain anonymous to ensure fairness and objectivity.
