PeerReviewProcess
All manuscripts submitted to the Journal of Law, Ethics, and Multidisciplinary Research (JLEMR) undergo an initial evaluation by the Editor. Submissions are screened for alignment with the journal’s scope, compliance with academic and ethical standards, and similarity check (Turnitin). Manuscripts that meet the basic requirements are assigned to at least two independent reviewers under a Double-Blind Peer Review process. Reviewer feedback is communicated to the corresponding author for necessary revisions and responses.
Final decisions are discussed at the editorial board level. Taking into account reviewer reports and editorial assessment, the decision is shared with the author. The peer review process generally requires 4–12 weeks, depending on reviewer availability and the quality of revisions. The possible editorial decisions are:
- Reject – Manuscripts are declined and cannot be resubmitted in the same version to JLEMR.
- Resubmit for Review – The paper requires substantial revision and will undergo a new round of peer review.
- Accept with Revisions – The paper is conditionally accepted, pending completion of minor or major revisions reviewed by the editor.
- Accept – The manuscript is accepted in its present form with no further modifications required.
