Journal History

The inaugural edition (Volume 1, Number 1) of the JERCSAI: Journal of Emerging Research in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence was released in May 2023, with Lontara Digitech serving as the publisher and M. Miftach Fakhri, S.Kom., M.Pd. as the Editor-in-Chief. The journal is affiliated with Universitas Negeri Makassar, Indonesia.

Since its first issue, JERCSAI has been published twice a year (May and November), focusing on research in digital technology, computer science, and informatics. Its scope includes topics such as software development, information systems, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and educational technology.

In 2024, the journal strengthened its visibility by being indexed in Google Scholar and other national citation databases, marking an important step toward wider academic recognition.

JERCSAI uses the abbreviation "JERCSAI" and holds the following ISSN numbers: Print ISSN XXXX-XXXX and Online ISSN 3030-8127.

All articles are published under an open-access policy and licensed with a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0), ensuring free access and dissemination of scientific knowledge in the field of computer science and digital technology.
