Peer Review Process
Peer Review Process
The peer review process is designed to uphold the quality and integrity of the scholarly work we publish. Each article submitted to the journal undergoes a rigorous double-blind review process, ensuring impartial evaluation by qualified experts in the relevant field.
1) Initial Screening
Upon submission, the editorial team conducts an initial review to ensure the manuscript aligns with the journal’s scope, adheres to submission guidelines, and meets basic academic standards. Manuscripts that pass this initial screening are forwarded to reviewers for in-depth evaluation.
2) Double-Blind Review
The journal implements a double-blind peer review system in which the identities of both authors and reviewers remain anonymous throughout the process. Each manuscript is typically reviewed by two to three independent reviewers with subject-matter expertise, ensuring objective and unbiased assessment.
3) Evaluation Criteria
- Clarity and relevance of the title and abstract
- Quality of the background and literature review
- Appropriateness of the research methodology and ethical considerations
- Accuracy, robustness, and interpretation of the results
- Depth of discussion and theoretical contributions
- Coherence of conclusions and practical/academic implications
- Originality, scholarly relevance, and potential scientific contribution
- Overall structure, clarity of language, use of references, and academic presentation
4) Reviewer Responsibilities
Reviewers provide comprehensive, specific, and constructive feedback, with comments linked to relevant manuscript sections and suggestions for improvement expressed in a respectful, scholarly manner. Reviewers must maintain confidentiality, disclose and avoid conflicts of interest, and uphold academic integrity throughout the process.
5) Editorial Decision
After peer review, the Editorial Board evaluates the reviewers’ reports and deliberates on the manuscript’s strengths and weaknesses. The final decision accept, minor revision, major revision, or reject is made by the Editor-in-Chief in consultation with the Board, informed by the reviewers’ comments, the manuscript’s overall quality, and its alignment with the journal’s academic vision.
6) Plagiarism Screening
To ensure originality, all manuscripts are screened for plagiarism using Turnitin or equivalent plagiarism detection software. This step is essential to maintain authenticity and academic integrity.
7) Post-Acceptance Workflow
Once accepted, manuscripts proceed to professional copyediting, typesetting, and final proofreading. Authors will review and approve the final version prior to publication. Articles are then published according to the journal’s schedule, contributing to the advancement of scholarly discourse and the dissemination of high-quality, original research.
