Authors are strongly discouraged from withdrawing their submitted manuscripts, as doing so wastes the valuable time and effort of editors and peer reviewers who have voluntarily contributed to the review process. However, JESTEAH: Journal of Educational Studies in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Humanities recognizes that authors may occasionally have unavoidable reasons for withdrawal.
To request withdrawal, authors must send an official withdrawal letter in PDF format to jesteahgloberesco@gmail.com before receiving a notification of acceptance. The letter must include:
- Paper ID and Paper Title
- Names of all Authors
- Reason for withdrawal
- Date and signatures of all authors (or corresponding author with confirmation from co-authors)
The editorial office will not consider a withdrawal request valid until the official letter is received. Manuscripts cannot be withdrawn during or after peer review unless exceptional circumstances apply. Once a paper has been accepted for publication, withdrawal is not permitted in principle.
In cases of unethical behavior such as plagiarism, duplicate submission, or parallel submission to other journals, withdrawal will not be allowed and disciplinary actions may be taken. It is also considered a violation to withdraw a manuscript simply because it has been accepted elsewhere.
